Coventry withdraws point appeal

Coventry City has decided to withdraw its appeal against a 10-point deduction by the Football League after a High Court ruling put the club into administration. This is the latest in an ongoing dispute over £1.3m in rent payments.

Coventry City: High court hearing adjourned until next week

An administration hearing at the High Court about an order placed on Coventry City Football Club has been opened and adjourned.

Non-operating subsidiary company Coventry City Ltd was placed in administration last night.

The club's parent company Coventry City Holdings, which is the club as the fans understand it, is still in operation.

Coventry City Ltd owes the owners of the Ricoh Arena more than £1.3 million in unpaid rent.

The High Court hearing will be heard again on Tuesday 26 March.
