Coventry City administrators release statement

Much of the media coverage has been inaccurate and seemingly ill-informed.

Contrary to what has been written and broadcast, CCFC Ltd is not completely without assets. The primary asset of the Company is the lease and licence for the Ricoh Arena.

In respect of the Football League Golden Share, solicitors acting for the Club’s holding company have asserted a claim to it and I am investigating this and other matters.

As for the Players contracts and registrations, documents registered with the Football League show they are held by the holding company.

– Paul Appleton, Coventry City administrator
