The 30 sixth form students from two schools in Wolverhampton stranded on the Isle of Arran are due back tonight.
Pupils from St Edmund's Catholic School and St Peter's Collegiate School in Compton Park were on a school field trip when transport back became unfeasible due to adverse weather.
The teenagers are now on a ferry and will return to Wolverhampton around 11pm tonight.
