A company in Chesterfield has designed a new hospital gown for young patients which is being used on wards at Birmingham Children's Hospital.
The old gown had ribbons to tie the open back. However, the new clothing is said to be more like a pair of pyjamas with velcro, still allowing surgeons the access they need.
