Six ambulances have left Birmingham to start their trip to Turkey where they will help hundreds of refugees and orphans who have left Syria.

Midlands convoy to Syria

Ambulances no longer in service in the Midlands have been filled with aid for Syrian refugees. One vehicle is leaving Derby, two are heading from Burton and six from Birmingham. The UN estimate that there are one million Syrian refugees in need.
