Old ambulances from Midlands head to Syria

SKT Welfare the charity is making preparations to send its second convoy to Syria with 30 ambulances leaving the UK today.

Six ambulances are setting off from Birmingham and will start the 3000 mile trip this afternoon.

Midlands convoy to Syria

Ambulances no longer in service in the Midlands have been filled with aid for Syrian refugees. One vehicle is leaving Derby, two are heading from Burton and six from Birmingham. The UN estimate that there are one million Syrian refugees in need.
