Unlit road caused teacher death

A coroner has recorded a verdict of accidental death in the case of a teacher from Nottingham who died while on a school ski trip in Austria. Jonathan Taylor, 44, fell 10ft down an unlit bank.

Students: 'Ideal teacher who everybody wanted to be taught by'

Students from Christ The King Voluntary Academy Roman Catholic school in Nottingham have paid tribute to the IT teacher who died after falling 13ft to his death on a school trip in Austria.

Described as "the ideal teacher who everybody wanted to be taught by" by one student and "he was lovely, always had a smile on his face and cheered up your day" by another.
