People living in Boston, Lincolnshire, have been saying prayers for their namesake city in America, following explosions during the Boston Marathon yesterday which killed three people.
Kate McCann from Leicestershire, whose daughter Madeleine was abducted in Portugal in 2007, has said she will not be deterred by the bombings and intends to run the London Marathon this Sunday.
