Jury sent out in boxer murder trial

The jury has been sent out in the trial of a man accused of murdering former boxer Shaun Cummins.

High Court Judge Mrs Justice Dobbs told the jury of seven men and five women at Leicester Crown Court to put aside feelings of emotion or sympathy.

Ex-boxer murder: man guilty

A man has been found guilty of the murder of a former champion boxer who was found dismembered in freezers at his home. Thomas Dunkley had denied murdering ex-WBA light-middleweight boxer Shaun Cummins but admitted preventing his burial.
