Claire Lomas says challenge was 'tough' but worth it

A woman paralysed from the chest down after a horse riding accident seven years ago has finished a 400 mile charity bike ride from Nottingham to London.

Claire Lomas from Leicestershire, used a special handbike to complete her challenge. A short while ago she arrived at the London Eye to cheers from friends and supporters.

So far Claire's raised almost £80,000 for spinal research. Along the way she also visited schools and colleges to talk about her experiences.
