Police officer appears in court over brothel charges

A West Midlands Police officer has appeared in court over charges including misconduct in a public office and conspiracy to manage a brothel.

West Midlands Police officer Osman Qamar Iqbal, is due to appear in court today, charged with misconduct in a public office. He is accused of conspiracy to manage a brothel, conspiracy to money launder and conspiracy to possess Class A drugs.
