Co-operative Food releases statement on Nottingham axe attack

On Thursday 16 May, at 9:45pm, three armed and masked men entered our store on Mansfield Road in Sherwood. They threatened staff, but failed in an attempt to steal cash and left empty-handed.

The members of staff were unhurt, but very shaken by the incident. There were no customers in the store at the time. CCTV footage has been given to the police, who are investigating. As with any incident such as this, we would appeal for anyone with information to come forward.
