Three thieves who stole children's presents from underneath Christmas trees in a three hour road-trip from Derby to the West Midlands, have been jailed at Birmingham Crown Court.
The trio broke into three properties in Burton-on-Trent, Fazeley and Sutton Coldfield before police stopped the van near Birmingham Airport using a stinger, following a pursuit.
They were yesterday sentenced for a combined total of more than 11 years for their string of thefts on December 8.
