Cannabis plants found in grounds of one of the Worcestershire nurseries under investigation following alleged sexual assault

Police have found six small cannabis plants in a private building in the grounds of one of the nurseries being searched following an alleged sexual assault.

The discovery will be dealt with in a separate investigation.

All three branches of Bright Eyes Nursery, in Bromsgrove, Redditch and Droitwich have been searched by police.

Meetings were held tonight for those affected by the current investigation.

A mother contacted police last week after her child claimed they had been assaulted by someone while at one of the three branches of Bright Eyes Nursery.

A sixth man has been now arrested in connection with the investigation. All have been released on police bail.

We have given those who attended some new information, not just about our investigation into the sexual assault, but also findings we feel they would want to know about the way the nurseries were being managed.

During our searches, we found six small cannabis plants in a small private dwelling in the grounds of the Droitwich branch, which will be dealt with by a separate investigation.
