Arctic medals are awarded to members of the British Armed Forces and the Merchant Navy who were involved in action in the Arctic Circle or Bomber Command during the Second World War.
Both awards are being presented almost seventy years after the end of the war.
Veterans from all three services who have been awarded either honour have been invited to put their names forward to have their medals officially presented to them by the Chief of the Air Staff.
