Nottingham's Paralympic champion Richard Whitehead is taking part in a practice run today around the city, ahead of his marathon, a charity challenge in August.

Richard Runs Britain will last 40 days, running from John O'Groats to Land's End.

He will be championed by Virgin Media, in order to raise £1million for Sarcoma UK, Scope and Macmillan Cancer Support.

Richard's run is the latest in a long line of incredible achievements.
