Green campaigners have today criticised new airport plans for a Birmingham hub claiming it will not help the local economy.
People will laud this scheme as great investment in the region, but if people will merely use Birmingham Airport to change planes, how will that help the region’s economy, when they’re not leaving the airport and actually spending money in the region?
