Birmingham born David Harewood is to receive a star on the Birmingham Walk of Stars.
The actor, who is originally from Small Heath, is best known for his role as the Deputy Director of the CIA’s Counterterrorism Centre David Estes in Homeland.
The star, who was awarded an MBE last year, has also appeared alongside Leonardo Di Caprio in the Hollywood thriller Blood Diamond.
The Lord Mayor, Councillor Mike Leddy, will present Harewood with his star on Thursday.
