The improvements will be made to the Catthorpe interchange on the M1 at its junction with A14 near Rugby and at the junction of A45/A46 Tollbar End junction near Coventry.
Construction work on the junctions, which are used by more than 90,000 vehicles each day, is expected to start between January and March 2014.
These improvements are vital for the economy, but most importantly for motorists in the Midlands, in reducing congestion levels and making journey times quicker in and around these two busy junctions.
