More time to question men after mosque bomb attacks

West Midlands Police counter terrorism officers have been given more time to question two men who have been detained in connection with the three explosions near mosques in the

Black Country.

The men aged 25 and 22 were arrested in Small Heath on Thursday and were detained under the Terrorism Act.

The extension was granted by Westminster Magistrates Court and now gives officers seven days to question the Ukrainian nationals.
