Coventry City administration meeting adjourned - reports

A meeting in London to determine Coventry City's future has reportedly been adjourned, meaning the club could potentially remain in administration for another six weeks.

The meeting followed this weekend's rally by Coventry supporters.

More than 5,000 fans showed their anger at plans for the team to play its home games at Northampton for at least three years.

Administrator Paul Appleton is expected to clarify the situation in a statement later this evening.

Thousand of fans are expected to boycott Coventry City's first 'home' fixture to be played out of the city for 130 years. The club will play fixtures at Northampton's Sixfields stadium after leaving the Ricoh because of a row over rent arrears.
