Derelict mill wins lottery grant - full report

A former mill in the Midlands has been awarded nearly 13 million pounds, to restore and regenerate the site where it stands.

It's one of the biggest grants of it's kind so far this year - for a building which has an important history.

£12.8m grant for derelict mill

The world's first iron-framed building has won a £12.8 million lottery grant for redevelopment. The Flax Mill Maltings in Shrewsbury, which has been derelict for 30 years, will be restored and turned into a visitor attraction.
