Leicester free school gets ‘good’ rating by Ofsted

A free school in Leicester has been given a ‘good’ rating by Ofsted inspectors.

Krishna Avanti Primary School in Evington opened its doors in 2011, and was the first free school in the East Midlands.

It is one of 81 free schools in the country, which are semi-independent state schools that have been set up by parents, teachers, educational organisations and charities.
