Emergency service vehicles take over historic abbey

Some of the country's most modern emergency rescue vehicles have gone on show at the historic Newstead Abbey in Nottinghamshire.

Fire engines, forensics officers, dog handlers, rescue units and road traffic collision demonstrators were all on display as part of a special 999 Emergency Services Day.

The Sea King helicopter was the star attraction, putting on a display over the abbey grounds for hundreds of delighted visitors.
