"Criminal" investigation launched over bungalow explosion

Police have launched a criminal investigation following a fire and explosion at a property in Leicestershire.

The bungalow in Burbage caught fire in the early hours of Monday morning and two deaf people inside were rescued by police officers. Fire officers say the fire was started deliberately.

Detectives say they are looking for two men wearing high visibility jackets seen close to the scene when police arrived in the early hours of Monday morning. Police suspect that those responsible for the causing the fire would have burn injuries themselves.
