Underground tunnels from WWII

A network of underground tunnels from the Second World War is to be turned into a museum.

Drakelow tunnels have been used for a factory, storage and a nuclear bunker over the years. The 1940s kitchen, operating theatres, dormitories and radio studio are all still in place.

The tunnels stretch for nearly four miles, although the public can only access a quarter of the site.
