The Mayor of Leicester has said he is "overwhelmed" by the number of people who took part in the fifth annual Sky Ride in the city.
Thousands of people took to the streets, which were closed off to traffic for the day, to cycle the 3.7 mile route.
Sir Peter Soulsby also said it was "amazing" to have been able to ride through the city's Curve Theatre, which opened its doors to give the Sky Riders a rare opportunity to cycle through the building.
