Andrew Bridgen MP: 'I guess I'm off the PM's Christmas card list'

A Midlands Conservative MP has defended his role in the action which led to a punishing defeat for his own party leader David Cameron.

The government failed in its bid to get support for a possible military strike against Syria over chemical weapons.

Andrew Bridgen, MP for North West Leicestershire, wrote a letter - signed by 81 Conservatives - calling for Parliament to be recalled and for the chance to vote.
