Some of the world’s top motorcycle racers will battle it out at Silverstone as qualifying gets underway today for tomorrow’s British Moto GP.
Around 160,000 fans are expected to attend the Northamptonshire circuit over the three-day racing event that began yesterday.
Coventry-born Cal Crutchlow will be looking to impress in front of his home fans. Two other British riders are also competing in this year’s British Grand Prix – Bradley Smith and Michael Laverty.
The two qualifying sessions will take place between 14:10 and 14:50 this afternoon.
