A campaign has been launched to encourage more people from the West Midlands to join the Royal Navy as reservists.
The first in a series of live recruitment days has been held at HMS Forward in Birmingham, in the hope of signing up 220 new recruits over the next three years.
Visitors were able to meet serving personnel and get a taste of what life as a Reservist is like by taking part in physical and mental challenges, foot drills and weapon handling, and kit demonstrations.
