Many of Asian music's most famous names were all under one roof in Birmingham last night, ahead of one of the music calendar's biggest award ceremonies. The event celebrates the best of bhangra and Asian music.
Artists including PBN (Punjabi by Nature), H Dhami, Angrej Ali, Asif Khan, Jas Dhami, Taz, Dr Zeus, Panjabi Hit Squad and Apache Indian were just some of the names at the BritAsiaTV Music Awards Nomination Party.
Many of the artists are known across the worldwide bhangra and Asian music scene with thousands of fans. But there are plenty of acts who are from right across the Midlands, including Coventry, Derby, Smethwick, Wolverhampton, Telford, Leicester, Birmingham and more.
The winners will be announced at a concert in October at Birmingham's National Indoor Arena, with the city once again hosting the top talents of the Asian music scene under one roof.
