A couple from Stoke-on-Trent have drowned while on holiday in Italy.
34-year-old Andrew Sturgess and his fiance Carmen Spiridon, who was 25, both died after getting into difficulty off the island of Sicily.
Police think one of them had tried to save the other. Mr Sturgess met his partner at the Breathe City Church in Stoke-on-Trent.
Paul Jukes from the Breathe City Church described the couple as 'sensitive people who loved and understood each other.'

The teenager was last seen around 11.30pm on Friday 28 April in the Carlton area of Nottingham.
