The Library of Birmingham has received 100,000 visitors since it opened last week.

The building, which cost £189 million to build, is the biggest library in Europe.

Bosses originally predicted that 10,000 people would visit each day.

The £189m new Library of Birmingham has opened to the public for the first time. It took 800 people to build and boasts around a million books, a new amphitheatre and two roof gardens.
