Ten members of the same family have been arrested on suspicion of murdering a 28-year-old woman.
Five men and five women were being questioned by detectives after the discovery of the woman's body at a house in Walsall.
The victim, who has not been named, is believed to have recently arrived in the UK from India.
She was reported missing last Thursday but police launched a murder inquiry when her body was discovered at a detached property in Victory Lane in the town on Friday night.
One resident said:
"They've always seemed like such a lovely family. It was a massive shock to see all the police here and then seem them all arrested.
Nobody can believe what's going on. I think she had only recently come over here and that she had married one of the children but it was over in India.
I believe they had another wedding last week, one of the daughters was married, I think.
It seemed like a really big do, the street was packed with cars and there was a horse at one point. To go from that to this is just unbelievable."
