A man has appeared in court charged with murder after a woman's body was found at a house in Walsall. Jasvir Ram Ginday, a bank employee, appeared in court wearing a grey suit and glasses.
The 32-year-old was told he is charged with murdering Varkha Rani on 12th September 2013. He spoke only to confirm his name, age and address.
The body of a 28-year-old woman was found on Friday night. West Midlands Police said the body had not yet been formally identified.
Further forensic tests are expected to be carried out tomorrow.
Nine other people, four men and five women who were arrested at the house in Victory Lane, have been released on police bail.
