Dr Taufiq Al-Sattar, who lost his wife and three children in a house fire in Wood Hill, has spoken at a community solidarity event to support those affected by the murders in Leicester.
Shehnila Taufiq, who was in her 40s, her 19-year-old daughter Zainab and sons, Bilal, 17, and Jamal, 15, died at their Leicester home last Thursday night (12 September).
Two people are still being questioned by police in connection with their deaths.
