The fragment of flag was carried by Sir Robert Harcourt, who was flag standard bearer to Henry Tudor at Bosworth.

The battle was infamous for King Richard III losing his life, which led to the start of the Tudor dynasty.

The estimate on the flag fragment has been set at £3000-5000 and will be auctioned in Derbyshire this Saturday.
