Teachers refuse to teach pupil allowed back into school following knife incident

Teachers at a Birmingham school have voted to refuse to teach a pupil who was allowed to return to class after an incident involving a knife.

The decision to exclude him was overturned by the governors.

It comes as campaigners call for a knife amnesty following the deaths of two teenagers who were stabbed in the city in the past seven days.
