Average student takes £4k of equipment to uni

With 3500 new students arriving at Loughborough University for the first time, Police have been speaking to freshers about how to keep their property safe.

Police estimate that each student will bring with them around £4,000 worth of property and equipment. They've been helping students to mark their property today so that if it is stolen and recovered it can be returned.
