Warwickshire County Council has announced that in the next four years there will be job cuts, with a maximum of 627 positions being removed, and has announced plans to merge its fire service with the Hereford & Worcestershire service to save money.

Warwickshire County Council has announced it needs to save £92million over the next four years.

The council says it will work to protect vulnerable people and promote economic growth but there will be some difficult choices to make over the coming years.

The council's budget will be set next February. It has not yet said how it will save the money.
