Baby shaken to death in Birmingham: man found guilty

A father who shook his ten-week old baby to death has been found guilty of manslaughter.

Kurt Delves, from Grafton Court in Erdington in Birmingham, snapped and repeatedly shook Harli Reid after buying presents to mark her first Christmas.

The baby was left with devastating brain injuries.

Delves, who was 20 at the time when he fatally injured the baby in December 2010.

Prosecutors argued that he had become frustrated because he was unable to stop her crying and shook her violently several times.
