The body of a teenager found at a quarry in Mansfield has been confirmed as that of missing school boy Ciaran Sweeney.
The 14-year-old had been missing from his home in Mansfield since 14th September. Underwater search teams found a body at Ratcher Hill Quarry in Southwell Road on Tuesday.
A post-mortem examination on Ciaran's body has taken place. Police have told ITV News it will be several weeks before the results are back.
