Prisoners at much-criticised Oakwood Prison in Wolverhampton have staged a rooftop protest today, according to reports.
The Birmingham Mail is reporting that three prisoners began the protest at 11am this morning, and the reasons behind the protest are unknown.
A spokeswoman for G4S, which runs the prison, told the paper:
"There is an ongoing incident involving three prisoners and our normal contingency plans have been enacted."
