A dentist who was jailed for seven years after scamming the NHS out of almost £1.4million has been struck off the medical register by the General Dental Council (GDC).
Joyce Trail, of Park Drive, Little Aston, Sutton Coldfield, was convicted of conspiracy to defraud in July following a five-week trial at Birmingham Crown Court last year.
The GDC has now ruled she "brought the profession into disrepute" and decided to revoke her licence to practice.
She now has 33 days to appeal the decision.
