A group of scuba divers from Leicestershire have smashed the Guinness World Record for the highest number of people playing underwater dominos at the same time.
The Del-Mar Dive Club sent 60 divers into the blue to play the game simultaneously, beating the previous record by 10.
The world record attempt was carried out in honour of the BSAC’s Diamond Jubilee, with one diver per year of her reign.
They spent six months planning the event, which took place in August at Wigston Swimming Pool where the club hold their training sessions.
The club then faced a nervous six-week wait to find out whether their hard work had paid off - and they have now had the confirmation through from Guinness.
