A determined German Shepherd who raised the alarm after discovering an abandoned baby in a Birmingham park has been praised.
The dog refused to leave the carrier bag alone while out for a walk with her owner - and it was only when the man went over in investigate that he realised why.
Hospital staff looking after the newborn decided to name her Jade, after the dog.
A neighbour, who did not wish to be named, told ITV News Central correspondent Keith Wilkinson that if it had not been for Jade the Dog's persistence, Baby Jade might not have been discovered at all.
