The Diwali Day fireworks show in Leicester's Golden Mile this evening is set to be the "best ever", a councillor has claimed.
Leicester's annual Diwali celebrations have earned themselves a reputation as being the biggest outside India.
Councillor Piara Singh Clair, from Leicester City Council, welcomed the annual festivities.
