Police have confirmed that a body found last week in Nottingham is that of the missing GP, Elizabeth Kinston.
The family of the 37 year old have been notified following the formal identification of the body.
Her family have issued a statement saying:
“We would like to thank all of our friends, her patients and members of the public who have offered support, love and well wishes during the last few weeks."
"Our beautiful Lizzie was found resting peacefully on Thursday 14 November."
The mother of two went missing from her home in Beeston on Friday 1 November. Her body was found near Enterprise Way, Dunkirk, on Thursday 14 November. A full post-mortem examination is expected to take place but the death is not being treated as suspicious.
