Secret cameras set up in the living room of pensioner Margaret Woodward's home caught the moment a brazen burglar strolled into her living room - while she was watching TV.
Apparently unconcerned by her presence, the man walked straight into the 68-year-old's Long Eaton home in one of five raids.
But the brave pensioner decided enough was enough, and can be seen on the video grabbing a walking stick, which she used to chase Patrick Reid from her home.
She has now been awarded £1,500 for her bravery as her actions helped put him behind bars for four and a half years.
