A Birmingham-based care company which looks after more than 100 people in their own homes has gone into administration.
Care People, which is based on Warwick Road in Sparkhill, has issued a letter to staff saying that from midnight tonight they will be losing their jobs without being paid.
A manager at the care firm said that was between 50 and 60 people.
Birmingham City Council says they have made arrangements to make sure Care People's clients will be looked after.
Bosses at the company have refused to comment.
